Jamgood, all small sampling of what they offer. Reminder they will only be at market until 8/15.
The day broke bright and sunny perfect for your Downtown North Attleborough Farmer's market.
Attleboro Farms,(www.attleborofarms.com) one of the founding participants of the market was first to arrive, followed closely by Nolin's Apiary, JamGood and Shirley's Chocolates making up the first 4 founding vendors. They were joined later by Oakdale Farms, (www.oakdalefarm.com), The Greenhouse at the end of Landry and Teen Paradise. Pretty good for only the third week of market.
I found the selection to be pretty varied, from greens to beets; we had an abundance of corn, zucchini, beans and tomatoes. There was honey from the North Attleborough hives of Nolin's Apiary, baked goods from Shirley's Chocolates and Jams and jellies from the kitchens of JamGood.
Traffic was steady throughout the day, most folks picking up something, it doesn't get any fresher!
It looks like everyone will be at market again next week so come on by to see what's fresh. I am going to check with the farmers to see what they will be bringing and plan on posting on Thursday afternoon, so check back then. I have posted some pictures of what was available Saturday, we are getting some good stuff in what has been a tough growing season.
See you at market, and I'll be downtown Tuesday night for the Block party, right by Shirley's, stop by and say hi.
